Gentle, but quite evocative nose of dessert apple and raisin cookies. Sweet but appetising. It is light in body and flavour, but with some delicacy and complexity. Vanilla. Honey. Spicy.
The finish is full of fruity flavours reminiscent of orange flower water. Drying somewhat with a hint of char. Even the colour is pale. This is a very gentle introduction to bourbon, but with all the elements there in place.
Instructions: Pour the contents of this bottle into a 75 cl (US 25 fl oz) bottle. Fill 3/4 full with vodka and shake until the sugar has dissolved.
Top up the bottle and shake until the contents have fully blended.
